Our Team

Professional and Business History:
Raymond Stout is the newest member of Miller Law Associates. He worked as a Legal Assistant to Cory Miller for two years while he was finishing his Juris Doctorate Degree and joined the firm full-time upon completion in 2011. His main focus during this two years was immersing himself into the Criminal Justice System to understand every facet and detail to be able to provide the most knowledge to our clients.

Education:
Raymond graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan with Honors and earned his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg in 2011.

Personal:
Raymond was brought aboard as a member of our team for his innate ability to interpret and understand the criminal justice system and its laws in a way that clients have come to respect.

He works tirelessly to guarantee that every client not only feels respected and understood, but also that they understand that he will use every resource available to provide a legal strategy for our clients.

He has resided in Lancaster County for over four years with his wife and children.

Professional and Business History:
Vanessa joined Cory at Smoker Gard Associates LLP in August 2006 as his criminal defense paralegal and has remained with Cory now at Miller Law Associates, PC. Vanessa handles all aspects pertaining to criminal defense and summary processing.

John Piersol McCaskey High School- Graduate, 1993

Pennsylvania Licensed Notary Public

Personal:
Vanessa has been raised in Lancaster Pennsylvania for 31 years, migrating from her home town of San German Puerto Rico in 1980 with her family. She is an outgoing and personable individual providing that edge that is needed in this field of practice. Prior to her employment with Cory, she was employed through the County Of Lancaster as a Magisterial District Court Criminal Clerk / Office Manager for 13 years.

Throughout her lengthy employment with the Court System, she obtained varied knowledge on many aspects of the legal system to include Criminal and Summary Processing, Civil and Landlord Tenant processing, accounting and most importantly customer service. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
